Come to think of it, I don't know where Zym's ball is at the moment. I suppose
that means I'll find out the hard way!

I did try putting his toys into a cardboard box once, but he just ate the box!
Well, pulled it to bits. Wonder what waiting times are like at A*&E nowadays.

Lol!!  Mine leave their toys on the stairs and in all sorts of dangerous
places!!  Balls are the worst if you tread on one on a stair.  I remember doing
this once and slipping onto my backside and I had a cup of tea in one hand and
it went all up the wall, lol!!   Mel.   From: Vincent Thacker Sent: Saturday,

Re: Bed   Zym has yet to learn that lesson. While his night-time habits are
very easy to live with, at other times he finds the daftest places to lie, like
the bottom of the stairs. One of these days, I'm going to go flying, although
when I'm in my right mind, I try to check that he's not there first. It's a
good job he's not a black dog, or I wouldn't even have a clue that he was in
one of his odd places.

Mine does this too as all of downstairs is wood, except one rug in the
lounge. I don't think he realises anything different about me. He does not
always move out my way and sometimes I almost fall over him. Most of my
other dogs have realised by this stage in the relationship, to get the hell
out of the way if they see me coming, but it's more because they remember
what happened the last time, not because they know I can't see. After all,
how can they know such things?

Interesting, few replies mentioning stealth dog mode. What do folks
think about the dogs cognition of our level of sight? So in my case
does Quartz know I cant see?
He will flop on the floor round the house and during the night if he
gets too hot he will retreat to cooler wooden floor.
