Todays fight in my shop was on the news, it was carol, senn and clare fighting
on my shopping day.

Today tried to phone taxi, but as usual none available, never is, so had to
phone the expensive disability bus one, they said they only do pre bookings, i
said please it is urgent, i need curtains for my new french doors, so they said
they would but in future i have to prebook, this is going to be difficult if i
am trying to telephone taxi first, taxi place said there would be one
available, but as usual none and these taxis will not let you prebook, i phone
the taxis every day, in the morning, afternoon and night time and try to book a
taxi, i am only pretending, just to see if they have one, even the m ps are
pretending, none available, shocking here, not just for me but everyone.
wheelchairs, pushchairs and prams would love a london cab with ramp.

Carer came on time to dress bottom half of me, i can do top half myself, i was
told to wrap up warm as seventy miles per hour winds and rain, i wore nice
clothes and thought my maxi mac was too thin in the wind, so put my winter maxi
coat on, disability bus came and off we go to town, we were dropped off at
cobblers as i was told they do engraving, i wanted my son's silver graduation
scroll and stand engraved, i had to stay outside in wheelchair as cobblers has
step to get in, carer went in and said they take a week to have engraving done
and said to try this other cobblers, so off we go.

We go to shaws next for curtains, only us in the shop and three lovely well
mannered, polite and courteous ladies assisted me, they had to move a few boxes
and baskets, but at least i was in the shop, i asked for curtains, ninety drop
and as wide as they have, as i like lots of gather, they only had ninety by
ninety, but anything is better than being a goldfish in a goldfish bowl and
stared in at from outside my new french doors, i told them i have black leather
sofas and i had red curtains on three windows, they never had red or black, not
even red and black, only ones that would match was one, which were white with
sought of biggish red flowers with black stems and gold leaves, was told the
flowers were like big red poppies, but instead of rounded petals which a poppy
has, these petals have points, i asked for amethyst duvet covers, they had no
type of lilac colour in shop and no guest towels, which i wanted for kitchen,
as tea towels are for dishes and guest towel for drying hands, i asked for nets
for new french doors and was advised to buy two, so paid for curtains and nets.

Next we go in cobblers, he can engrave within an hour and had to pay up front,
only six pounds fifty pence, asked for these engraved words, to simon love from
mum x x x x as my cards say congratulations, well done etcetera, made him cards
and bought a card for him with how proud i am of him, he knows.

While waiting hour, we went to anitas art and craft shop, bought sparkling baby
pale pink card and same pale sparkly card in blue, lilac, and they sold big
bottles of glitter glue for three pounds, i bought nine bottles of assorted
colours, as this is something i can use and do, as the capital letters on your
cards are done with these bottles which have nozzle on top.

Next we went in poundland and bought all these for mere one pound each, a pack
of glue which has bottle of p v a, small prit stick, large prit stick and large
bottle of paper glue for just one pound, bought my daughter's favourite mister
kiplings cherry bakewell tarts, cadbury's chocolate, when we got to pay, lady
said the mister kiplings are buy one get one free, eight cakes in one box, so
carer went and got another box, two boxes for one pound, carol's left the
forum, she's gone to poundland and clare and senn just left to buy all the
chocolate for just one pound, fight in poundland over the big cadburys
chocolate bars, quick carer lets go.

Paid for simon's engraving and went to post office, gave lady my carrier bag of
goodies for simon including beautiful silk lined box with simons scroll, cards
etcetera, had to choose between fast tracking or for simon to sign for it, i
would have liked both, but was advised to do fast tracking as you can phone and
find out where it is, it has insurance on it too, takes four days to get to
america, do not know what day that is, but only know is graduation is twenty
one key of the door of this month, lady said will arrive well before.

Then we went home in disabilty bus, came through my new french doors so very
easier, but no way was i going to be pulled out and stood by the window until
my legs are okay looking like a scarecrow in a goldfish bowl, no chance, so
pleaded with carer to take me in bedroom, where i was put to stand until i
could come back to life, carer wrote her book and went, we went and came back
dry, no rain on us at all, we were lucky.

There i stood for hours, cold i was, always am when been out, even on hot day.

When able to drag my foot, i phoned my bestest friend, then phoned my daughter
who declined helping to put curtains up, so went to bed to regenerate.

Next phoned my son, he said he would be down in ten minutes, usually he is too
busy to help, but when he can he does, he is always helping someone and has a
good temperament, but is always rushing about here there and everywhere helping
his friends fix their computers or work etcetera, anyways he came, he had my
curtains and nets up in seconds, his new girlfriend came with him, they would
not have anything to eat, they only had a glass of orange juice and he said his
usual sorry mum, have to go, be down monday or tuesday to do my computer, gave
me a hug and sadly they were gone, went to bed to regenerate.

Next felt my curtains, nice and they are lined, then put dinner in microwave,
which was from whenever my daughter came, but tasted it and binned it as it was
not good, it was from the meal i had when my daughter was here before, so had a
glass of orange juice instead.

Went to bed, then read lots of your lovely emails, wow lots going on on our
forum and will be replying, please be patient with me, lots going on, got cards
to make for umpteen birthdays, court again so need papers ready, got huge
amount of my unopened mail to scan and read and shred or file with my penfriend
and dust from workmen and painters here monday, jeepers creepers, i like
internet too as you know in between to keep up with what is going on in the
world and new inventions, planets, creativity, anyways hope you enjoy your
weekend and all you wish for.
