Hi All, yesterday I went shopping in Asda and when I came to pay with my signature only card they refused me and said they weren't allowed to do it. I asked for the manager and she said the same. I told her she was breaking the law, but she wouldn't budge. She phoned her head office and said she wasn't allowed to do it too. Then I went to Iceland and the same thing again. So when I came home I phoned the R. N. I. B. and told their adviser what had happened. She said they were breaking the law. She is sending me a letter to take back to them which is a legal outline of the law as it stands. She said to give them the letter and say I am requesting a formal complaint and expect a reply in two weeks. If I don't get one to let the R. N. I. B. know and they will put it in the hands of their legal team and take it from there. So what I want to know is has anyone on this group had the same problem. love Malcolm. xxx love Malcolm. xxxx.
