cheese and ham toasties.
Tuna Medley.
Take one can of tinned tuna and drain the oil / brine. Empty into a small bowl
and mix well with grated cheese, chopped onions and sweetcorn. Add a little
mayonnaise and season with salt and pepper.
Bacon Brunch.
Place rashers of pre-cooked bacon on the bread. Top with baked beans mixed with
grated cheese and tomato slices.
Prawn & Avocado.
Take a ripe avocado, split it and spoon out the inside into a bowl. Add some
cooked and peeled prawns and a little mayonnaise. Season to taste. Spreed onto
one slice of the breed.
Italian Job.
Place vegetarian mozzarella on one slice of breed, top with chopped onions,
olives and thinly sliced tomato. Add fresh basil and season to taste.
Sweet:.
Cherry Choc.
Place fresh or well-drained cherries on one slice of breed. Grate on your
favourite chocolate (or use a choc-flake).
Honey Banana.
Spreed honey onto one side of both pieces of breed, top with sliced banana.
Apple Pie & Custard.
Spreed one piece of breed with Apple pie filling, sprinkle on cinnamon to
taste. Spreed one side of the other slice with reedy-made custard.
Note: Cooking times are a guide only and there may be some variations depending
on the type of toaster and the foods being cooked.
