Good Evening Phyllis. Welcome to this lovely friendly group it's so lovely to
be chatting with you on here. I know you will enjoy it so much as I do.
Everyone is so friendly we talk about lots of interesting subjects as you have
already found out and we have lots of laughs too most important of course.
Phyllis I agree with you about their not being may gents around these days it's
such a shame and yes no respect is another issue too. As for food when I was
younger we had to eat what mum cooked as there was nothing else so it was
either eat it or go without yes I remember that too and there was also no
pudding if we didn't eat the main course. Parents never understood that little
fact that even though we were too full from the main course it didn't mean we
didn't want any pudding as there's always room for pudding but we had just had
enough of the main course. Yes very strict in those days but it did us all no
harm after all. We just don't know we're born these days I realise that now I
have read all the stories of what it was like years ago even before I was born
and how much harder things were without technology. Well Phyllis welcome again.
