In September it's back to school,
The summer holidays have passed,
Mums sigh a deep breath of relief,
Because it's back to school at last,
Yes, in September, it's back to school,
New pencils books, and bags,
Mums sigh another breath of relief,
After sewing on all those, name tags,
No more having to entertain the kids,
And keep them busy all day,
Or having to find suitable child care,
Making sure they'll be okay,
But in September it's back to school.
Not to worry, parents try,
Till the kids are safely home again,
And they can give a, thankful sigh..............
