heard another interview on radio solent with the Downton Abbey writer Lord
Julian Fellowes, the 4 part series is about the liner Titanic, the ship left
Southampton, collected more passengers in Belfast then left for it's maiden
voyage to America, it is the 100th anniversary on 12th of April 2012, it was
last year that a local lady died, Milvena Dean was 6 weeks old when the ship
sank, she was passed into a lifeboat and was saved, can't remember if her
family survived but she lived to be 99 so she must have had a guardian angel on
that tragic day, there is a new exhibition opening in Southampton to
commemorate the event, also another museum will open shortly in Belfast, it's
amazing how this ship has still got the public's interest and memorabelia from
the event can fetch huge prices for historians and collectors, that's all for
