Good evening all. I have just read all the messages that came in. Well I agree
with all that's been said on here about describing things to us being so
important. Malcolm, your description of it feeling like being stuck in a shoe
box with the lid down and just complete darkness and emptiness is spot on. I
also describe total blindness as a dark lonely hole. Malcolm, as you have said
already and I have said lots of times before on here it's different for someone
who has been totally blind from birth than it is for someone who has had sight
in the past. Yes having someone describe to us is so important and as you say
so is physical contact. I agree with all that's been said on this subject.
Yeah, that's a good one we can stick to we need to touch haha. I love it. Yeah,
Malcolm I notice you only mentioned touching girls. You cheeky boy. Lol. Yes I
also feel it's important we chat about our situation and feelings to give a
better understanding of each other it's ideal. I feel the more we talk about
things whether good or bad it connects us and brings us even closer as that way
we know where each other's coming from. Well Carol you certainly got your
shopping there sounds like you bought the whole shop hahahaha. Your tea so
yummy. Vanessa, thank you so much for a lovely message as always. I'm so happy
things are going well for you now and I certainly agree with Carol about faith
and fate. Well I enjoyed blind club as always although I didn't win on the
dominoes or raffle this time but of course we can't win them all. We had
chocolate cake with a cuppa for a lady's birthday. At our next club we are
having a buffet as on 6 August there's no club so we will make up for it next
time so look forward to that. At least the riverside club's still carrying on
so glad about that. For tea it was meat pie and that aero mousse and later will
have to find some medicine in my stash with not winning any at the club while
enjoying the soaps. It's warm here today. Love Clare xxxx
