At last, it looks as if you are finally making some progress. 
I would say that you'll be feeling happier about that, but I won't Vanessa - 
because it'll take a lot more than this to get rid of the total mess the 
occupational therapists have made of things so far for you.
I hope, though, that things are looking up on that particular front - and not 
before time, either!

wednesday my daughter was supposed to come here, but cancelled it until 
tomorrow, occupational therapist came with another chair, still no good, too 
low, this time i heard her measure the height and the rep has taken the 
measurements and will bring another one to the correct measurements and that 
will lay me down and stand me up, i think the next one might be the one, 
because the rep took notes and listened to me.

thursday my daughter and grandson came here as she needs the money and i need 
the work, so she is going to help me some cleaning and i am going to pay her, 
we both benefit, in the afternoon social worker and living coordinator came, 
they brought me the train and cinema forms but gave my daughter them to fill 
in, they also gave her the job of the light bulb element in bathroom, they also 
said they cannot find a one handed tin opener that opens from the top and not 
the sides of the tin, there is no wall in my kitchen i can reach as work 
surfaces all around kitchen, they going to bring day services to teach me to 
use a one tin opener which opens the sides of tin, when i need a tin opener 
that opens the top of tin, as sides will be sharp, i am a bleeder and one slip 
of side of tin and i will bleed, my daughter cleaned my bedroom windows nets 
and curtains, behind my computer work station and latern chandelier, thats why 
it will snow ha ha, she was going to stay and go home friday night, but because 
we are on red warning when rest of britain is on yelllow warning, she went 
home, i gave her my milk as she could not get any for my grandson, she said 
people are panic buying bread and milk and shelves are completely empty, my 
gransons needs are greater than mine, he is only a one year old.

friday is day when me and phyllis have housing people in our homes because of 
extra bedrooms, my letter says they are visiting in my area and will be here to 
discuss the bedroom tax, my daughter phoned me to say we have snow and it is 
still snowing, carers boss phoned to say they have cancelled my todays shopping 
day out, so no carers today as they cannot get here because of snow, i am on a 
hill, you go down a hill and up a hill to me, taxis won't come here as they can 
get down the hill easy, but cannot get back up the hill, so if anyone needs 
taxi they have to walk up the hill to main road, doubt if housing will come 
today, we shall just have to wait and see.

hope you are keeping warm, do not go out in this weather, you are always in my 
thoughts, i read all your emails, but writing is not my good point, but 
internet finding is my strong point, take care and keep warm.
