Hi David. This is very interesting thank you for the advice. I'm keeping my
friend Pat's headphones till the next blind club in 2 week's time as won't see
her till then so may give it a go. I can't wait to get my own headphones that
will be so cool. That splitter sounds so cool so you and your daughter can
listen to books together now you are not able to read to her as you used to
before you went blind I can imagine that was so sad for you both but at least
you can still enjoy books together that's ideal. So we have similar taste in
music. I don't like rap either it's just a load of err racket. Oh dear sorry
all those rap fans out there haha. Love Clare xxxx

Hi Clare,

I know some electronics are different here in the US. I often use a Y
cable called an audio splitter in the lab where I teach JAWS and Guide. I
have used these on my player when my daughter and I would listen to a star
wars book together as she is also a big fan. We still use the splitter to
listen to books together. I had read to her almost every night since her
birth until I went blind. A twelve year tradition is hard to break. So we
use the audio splitter cable. I don't know if this will work for multiple
transmitters for wireless headphones, but maybe you could borrow your
friend's headphones if you can find a splitter and try before you buy
another set of phones. This device normally costs $5 to $10 here in the
states.
