I don't think friends have dropped me like a bad penny. I have had people
talking to Alan instead of me, but I usually step in and say something like,
"I'm here, you know, why not ask me". They are put in a corner then and they
have to ask me then. Or Alan will say, "Don't ask me, ask June." I will not
allow anyone to talk to me through someone else, as I know what I want, and
also what to convey.
Maybe I'm too tough, but that's me.
