Glad Casper's none the worse for his imprisonment, Malcolm.
Look at your day this way: at least you weren't bored!
When you say you were seen to by the nurse, you sound like a dog being taken to
the vets to have certain bits cut off....
Anyway, I hope things are OK for tomorrow.
Jim.

Subject: [guide.chat] My nightmare day

Hi All.

What a day I have had today. When Cath came at 12 noon I realised that I hadn't
seen Casper. I looked all over the house , nothing. I went out side , nothing,
Looked in the garage. Nothing. Both sat there wondering where he might be. We
decided to check my bed room once more before we went to the hospital. As we
entered the room we heard a very faint meow. Couldn't see him anywhere. Then I
thought of my electric bed. I lifted the feet end of the bed and out jumped
Casper. So what must have happened is last night I put the feet end up a bit
and this morning I closed it. there for unknown to me the cat was still in
there. What a relief. Then off we went to the hospital. Cath doesn't know
Manchester so when I asked her where we were she said Piccadilly station. I
said your miles out. So I know which way to go if you can see but I couldn't so
it took a while to get back on track. We arrived at the hospital and parked the
car. I must point out the hospital over the past four years or so has changed.
It is now four hospitals in one with a lot of building work still being done.
So we entered the building and what a nightmare. we were sent here and there
and when we found it we had been looking for it for three quarters of an hour.
Luckily the nurse was waiting for me and I got seen to straight away. And I
have to go back tomorrow to have the monitor taken off again. So wish me luck
for tomorrow.

Well that's about it.

love Malcolm. xxx
