Look on the bright side.
If you practice yoga, and use the lotus position, at least you won't be able to 
pick your nose with your big toe for a while....
Look - Carol doesn't call me daft Jim for nothing, you know!
Seriously, try to rest that foot - the more you rest it over the next fortnight 
or so, the quicker it'll heal. You don't need me to tell you that, though.
I hope you get a reasonably comfortable night's sleep, Jan - and please let us 
know how you get on at the hospital.

Good Evening,to you,Mal,Jim,Carol,Tony,Harold,Kathy,and anyone that I have 
forgot,forgive me if I have not mentioned your name but I am feeling a little 
disoriented.  I am in pain,and will be going off to the Hospital in the 
morning,not sure what is going to happen. I have had an x ray to show that my 
big toe is broken,and I think that tomorrow I will be put in a cast,or maybe it 
will be strapped up,at present it is bandaged ,but can't walk properly so just 
have to keep my right foot still,without bending,I can not bend my foot or toe. 
my PA Esther said that my foot is black,all I know is that I feel as though I 
have been through the mill.

I don't mean to go on,but truly just wanted to thank you for giving me the time 
of day. I am off to bed now as I should have been resting all day,and I have 
not,it's not me to be sitting down like this,I am usually on the go all day. I 
am a bad patient,I am a wounded animal,that licks her own wounds,and if there 
is anyone out there with Asperges  then I don't mean that literally ,and by 
saying even that I worry that it might be taken the wrong way,but as somebody 
that was married to a man that was on the spectrum,I know that what I have just 
said  could be misunderstood.  I think that I had better stop there and get 
tucked up in the safety of my bed.Love Jan.
