Hi Carol, oh yeah, time flies for sure so scary. It will soon be September so will have my dance back but don't want to wish my life away as it goes fast enough haha. Can't believe it's July already. Oh that would be so cool if they can find you a volunteer so you can go to that woman's hour on Saturday afternoons not bad going a nice change for you and something extra for you to do so keeping everything crossed for you. Yeah, it's so lovely of that lady to take you to church every Sunday. Yes I remember that club you and Eric used to run you both loved it. A shame there's nothing out there for us blind people now we so limited these days. Also I notice that when we want to join sighted events in the community they won't get support for us so we can join in it's not good. I know I have my parents with me but it's not fair to rely on them for everything as they don't want to do everything I want to and anyway they do a lot for me as it is. They so lovely we so close as you know just like you and your family We certainly so lucky aren't we? Transport is another big issue for us totally blind people. Also it seems when there are events and activities going on people don't seem to want to turn out for them so they end up closing such a shame. You can't win either way really. That community spirit has certainly gone. Oh I'm showing my age now aren't I hahahaha. Yeah, It seems people do their own thing as have no choice these days if you want entertainment the only way is to do it yourself if you can it's ideal. Oh that will be so cool if you set up a craft club near Christmas let's hope Margaret and the committee and the minister agree to it. Good for you I say. I just enjoyed my cheese on toast and my aero mousse. Well keep you posted how the riverside club goes tomorrow. I know you will have a good day and of course enjoy the tennis. Love Clare xxxx
