No, this is not possible with the configure script.

You need to rename /usr/include/x86_64-linux-gnu/ffi.h (Ubuntu) to something else and then install FFCALL manually. After that, run the configure script again and it will detect FFCALL.

Peter,

Is there a way (configure option) to specify which foreign function
library you wish to use when compiling gtk-server.so? (for ScriptBasic)

I was able to get my desktop back after reinstalling it. (SCARY) I guess
GNOME still uses FFI. (bugs and all)
