Our schedules are still place holders as far as segments of the day. The
teachers assigned are the actual instructors delivering the content, but we
have not attempted to schedule time of day. There is always talk about it, but
once they hear what it would take to maintain the schedules, they abandon the
idea. Our elementary counselors do very little computer input, so most schedule
changes are done by secretaries. This means they are usually a mess!
Thanks,
Anna

Subject: [gsis_admins] Elementary Scheduling
How do you currently schedule your elementary schools? Do you try to follow a
more true schedule like middle and high or are all periods and subjects just
place holders? What discussion, if any, has your district had in regards to
scheduling at elementary in connection with HB364? Has there been any
discussion about period attendance at the elementary level?
We are in the planning process and would like to have some input as to what
other districts may be thinking about doing.
