Hi everyone!

I just want to let you all know how much I have LOVED being on this board and 
getting to know you all. You, the people I have had the privilege of working 
with, have been the absolute best part of being on the GSIS board and I hope to 
continue our relationships in the future. Thank you all for welcoming me into 
the group, and I will miss you all tremendously. And I'll certainly miss the 
conference next year. I have been for so many years now that I don't know what 
I'll do when February comes around and I'm not there!

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that I have received a 
letter of resignation from the GSIS Board for Kaila Steele. She has accepted an 
incredible opportunity with Banks County as an Assistant Principal. I am 
extremely excited for her. However, she will be greatly missed. That being 
said, we will need to call a special meeting to elect a new President-Elect and 
discuss filling a vacant board seat.



I know everyone is busy this time of year. I am looking at a brief meeting the
