Good morning Fabulous People!!!!

As you know, Kayla has provided her letter of resignation, vacating her seat on
the board. We had decided on an alternate member during the meeting we had to
elect new board members to fill this seat should this occur. I wanted to let
you know that I have reached out to Ty’Sheka Lambert. She has accepted her
invitation to serve. I will be working with her and other board members to
ensure she has the appropriate accesses to the GSIS documents, the GSIS Admin
email group, and gets introduced to GSIS board membership.

This also means that we will need to elect a new President Elect. I do not see
why we cannot perform this task electronically. Please send me your
nominations. I will confirm the nominees accept the nominations and will send
out a ballot. Please send me your nomination by the noon, Tuesday, June 28th. I
will confirm acceptance of nominations on Wednesday. I hope to have the
election process completed by end of day on Thursday.

This also shuffles some responsibilities with regards to the website, etc.
Updates coming soon.

I am also going to be communicating with GaDOE about the possibility of using a
meeting room at the end of day 1 of the Data Conference for us to meet. I will
be updating you with more about that when new info is available.
