Division Response Area 3 Weekly Crime Stats
Hello again,
There was a question on the listed locations of incidents in the crime
report I sent earlier.
To protect victim's identity and privacy, our public crime mapping system
lists the locations of incidents by the block number only and not the
specific numerical address. For example: If a crime occurred at 117 Smith
St, it would be listed as 100 Smith St (the 100 block). If a crime occurred
at 2236 Jones Ave, it would be listed as 2200 Jones Ave. If someone has
reason to have the confidential report, the exact numerical address will be
listed on that report.
Please share these reports with your neighbors and members of your
Neighborhood Watches.
