[GradeQuick] keeping LS kids in reg gradebook

Our LS students are listed in the regular classroom teachers grade book but
yet they may only be required to complete some of the assignments. Does
anyone have a good way to handle this? We have tried to use Excused for
some assignments but then when the grades are sent to edline parents asked
why they were excused, we have tried to add another column but then that
column also gets sent to Edline. We do not want to create new classes for
these students since it would that much more for the classroom teacher to
maintain. Does anyone have any suggestions that solve that problem?
