400 teachers (100%) are using Gradequick and Edline in our county. It has been mandated by the superintendent. I have been using it for about 3 years now and love it. I would estimate about 40% of the parents (at least in my classes) are using Edline. The ones that aren't do not have computers or they do not have Internet connections. At our school we post attendance on Gradequick and send to the office. We also post assignments as well as use the built in email program for personal communication as well as mass communication of upcoming events. I'm interested in learning how to put this system to use at home. One of our teachers was able to do that last year, but somehow I never was able to find out the "how" and "where" of it. Unfortunately, we've upgraded and no one knows how to do it anymore. I know it required downloading software and you had to send the grades to yourself at school in order to post them. Ah...so many things are going on at once, we can't seem to keep up with it. Hopefully this list will help put some structure to the programs in a more relaxed atmosphere...with snacks, drinks, and a bathroom at our disposal, LOL. ------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from this listserv, go to: http://www.greece.k12.ny.us/taylor/gradequick/ If you have any problems, send an e-mail to: Jerry.Taylor@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ------------------------------------------------------------
