Hi Piet, I would suggest that you also try enabling logging. Checkout http://support.microsoft.com/kb/221833/en-us then post the Userenv log created. It should have a better error message of why it is not being applied. When I run gpupate or gpupate /force nothing happens, the cursor just sits there. I tried flushing dns, removing from the domain and then adding to the domain again, but this did not help.
