Hi Ronnie,
Maybe not directly an answer to your question but we use BGInfo (Windows
Internals) in our loginscript for this information on the users desktop (along
with the hostname and ip of the machine in case of client pc's).

Is there any way of placing a the %username% variable on the users desktop so
that is recognisable when a remote session desktop session is initiated I would
see who is actually logged on.
