Okay I restarted the FRS service, now instead of hanging at pending it has failed - My next step will look into rebuilding the sysvol tree (I feel like im in wayyyy over my head) I'll let you know the results when I get to doing this - I may not finish it until later tonight. thanks for all of the help thus far!
