You mean on each local system and not in the gp? Or do you mean the local group 
in active directory?

Hi Eric..

Try placing them in the network configuration opeartors local group. That
should allow them to set the "alternate configuration"

I have donât some locking down of some laptops with gp.  Now they are
unable to set a static ip.  Where did I disable this setting?  I cant seem
to find it.  I need them to be able to set a static ip on there machine.bj{ry
