No problem in creating a custom ADM but not sure how.

Jim-

You could create a custom ADM for this, or are you trying to avoid that?

Subject: [gptalk] I.E. Download to local folder only

Hi all,

I have been able to set our users' downloads in Firefox to a local
folder using their .adm in group policy, but I have not been able to
find a similar setting in I.E. 7.0. we want to allow for downloads but
not to have the downloads be synchronized to the server later. The only
solution I have found is to edit the registry on the local machine but
this is not acceptable for group changes.

1. Start Regedit and navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer

2. Change the value of the string Download Directory to the new path
you want to assign as IE's Default Download directory (i.e. "C:\Local"
has been assigned as my new download folder).

Blessings,

Jim
