If you're browsing to a remote workstation for this file the gpmc will remember that location the next time you want to add to the list. If that location doesn't exist then gpmc will hang. Not sure if this is documented anywhere but I always copy the file local (external usb disk)then add the file to the hash list. You may need to reload gpmc. I am trying to create a hash on two files in a Software Restriction Policy but each time I browse to either of the files the GP editor freezes and I have to use Task Manager to stop the process. I have not had this problem before and I was wondering if there are there any limitations to creating a hash for an exe file? I'm stumped on this one. By the way, I am working with Server 2003. Thanks for any suggestions. cjsands *********************** You can unsubscribe from gptalk by sending email to gptalk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field OR by logging into the freelists.org Web interface.
