Hello,
Do you have Windows Explorer set to show hidden files and folders?

Subject: [gptalk] Event ID 1000 - Due to missing, or badly deleted GPO (which
cannot be found anymore)?

Gents,

I am seeing the following event in the Application log on one of the
DC's in a child domain. This child domain contains 2 DC's by the way:

Event ID: 1000

Source: UserInit

Windows could not execute
\\servername\install$\EnglishClient\client.bat due to the following
error: The system cannot find the file specified.

This errors occurs multiple times a day, always at least 6 times.

The directory and the file Windows is trying to locate dont exist
offcourse.

I have tried to find a GPO which could be responsible for this but
havent been able to yet.

Does anybody have an idea that comes to mind?
It isn't a terribly urgent problem since the bat file doesnt need to be
executed at all, it's just annoying.

Thanks in advance!

Victor
