FW: Cruise to Warwick Yacht Club 22-23 May 2010White Shoal Racers,
GPYC Boater's Club will have our annual Blessing of the Fleet on Memorial Day,
30 May, starting at 3:00. The Reverend Gary Barker, Rector at Christ Episcopal
Church, will be on hand for the ceremony. We will begin with a short opening
service at the gazebo followed by the parade of boats from the area of the
Battery Park oyster house past the GPYC marina. Each boat will receive the
traditional blessing as it passes the reviewing party on the dock. We will
gather back at the gazebo for refreshments after all boats have been blessed.
Please join us for all the activities or if you don't want to come ashore, you
may just join in the parade of boats for the blessing.
