Tina,
The Holux has a slider switch that slides up to be turned On and slides down to
be turned Off. This applies to the current shipping
model and the older model.

how do you tell with the hollux? A friend got gps in july and says for her
reciver you cannt tell if it is off or on does the hollux beep or vibrate at
power-up?
