I would agree. I have picked up lots of things because of questions asked of the list. At first nothing much sinks, but then you begin to notice things and are glad to pick up titbits.

Mike, I - as an ordinary (and relatively new) BNGPS don't think so. there is nooverwhelming reason why direct replies to messages by this list should only go to the original sender. there isn't a quota of messages per day, such asthere is on some lists I know of, where this feature might be beneficial. Also, many of us here are not expert GPS users, so we can (and do) learn from replies - as we read and save them - to others whose problems are notours today but that some day could well be; and also because the quality of this sort of technical information may not otherwise be easy to come by formost of us. Perhaps this would reduce list traffic when amessage is only relevant for the person that posted and not for the whole list.
