Hi,

The MTK chipset is not supported by Sendero gPS 3.5.  This is the
chipset that the newer receivers use, IE Holux m-1000, iBlue 737a+ etc.

Even if you could connect the newer receivers with a serial cable they
won't work.

Your best bet is to find the name of the receiver then try and find it
on ebay.
