Hi John, In your "Maps" folder, the history.hdb file is indeed a history database that stores 25 most recent addresses, GPS positions, POIs and lat/lons. ENTER with dots 2-3-6 will bring up the History list, where you can scroll through the list and press ENTER to bring up History Action Menu. This history.hdb file is stored with the Maps/POIs and don't think it's the same one the Apex is complaining about after a reset. I was putting the new Orange County bus stop information into my maps folder. See, where already back on topic! I came across a file called history.hdb which I would assume stands for history database. Does the Gps maps have such a file? I never noticed it before. the reason I'm curious is that After restoring files to my apex last weekend, I've had to do a reset a couple of times and I keep getting the message Cannot find the History Database. If, the gps folder doesn't have the history database in it, perhaps I accidently put it there by mistake? If so I need to move it and put it where it belongs somewhere on my apex. If that is indeed what I do need to do, in which folder do I put it? You can write me off list if you choose. thanks!
