Using GPS will definitely drain the battery faster, but 2 hours a day should be fine.

I have never used a mobile phone except for making and answering phone
calls. Can you Imagine doing that on a phone? Am I right, that you'd have
to carry extra charged battery packs if you run GPS as a pedestrian for lets
say 2 hours a day? You wouldn't things like your ear or pocket to disrupt
your mobility aid. A bluetooth speaker would probably be necessary, which
would increase the power drain on the phone right? If your gps phone is
telling you about what's coming up and the phone rings, can you do your
phone call while your phone is still giving you gps information? It just
seems the last thing you'd want to is run out of power on the way home from
work. Maybe I am asking questions that have been solved. What do I know, I
talk on my phone.
