Hi Dan, Radio Shack produces or produced a small box a couple inches square
and kind of fatter at the bottom then the top that runs off a nine volt
battery. It has an internal speaker, headphone jack, line in jack and
power jack. Cost about $12.00 several or more years back. Pretty loud for
the size of it and quite adequate for your GPS purpose I think. 73's good
