Charles, thanks for those ideas regarding my receiving an invalid license message. I did a simple reset, and all's well again. I have an mPower only, and only my own software, so those problems shouldn't occur. I'm so used to having to reset this mPower that it's second nature to withdraw the GPS CF card and press that little reset button.

When you get the message you don't have a valid license to operate this software one of five things could cause this.
1. The system wasn't actually finished booting up and if you try again pressing N this usually works the second time after a reset. 2. The file didn't get installed correctly and you should try re-installing the GPS software, the install program itself contains the Key which allows the software to run. 3. If you have two machines you installed tried to install the PK version on your mPower or vice versa, to find out if this is the case it will tell you during the startup of the program which version you installed "PK or MPower" if you hear "MPower" and you are on a PK theres your problem, and you need to get the correct install package for you PK. 4. The install EXE is corrupt and you need to contact who sent you the file and get a replacement copy. 5. You tried to install someone else's copy which obviously doesn't work.
Hope that helps Charles.
