Jose, first let me say I've been a GPS users for all of about a month now so not a huge amount of experience but here are some ideas. First, it's likely that the streets in your college are mapped. I say this because the other day I was in a large apartment complex and even the unnamed streets used between buildings were appearing in the map and my location was accurate. If they map apartments I'm sure they map universities. Next, even if not mapped you can still get a heading and distance to a POI. You could mark the various buildings and locations with POIs so you could find your way back later. Also, if the buildings aren't marked but the streets are working properly you could certainly define your own POI list that marks the facility. That's just my $.02, far more experienced and mobility skilled folks will probably give you better answers but that's a n00by's perspective. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jose Lomeli To: gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Monday, August 11, 2008 1:51 PM Subject: [gps-talkusers] Using gps with BrailleNote mPOWER In College campus Hello; Listers, I have a question.
