I just installed the GPS 2012 and still need to read about the changes. Is this "shared POIs folder" on my Apex somewhere, or is this the shared pois folder in the GPS program on my Apex?

Anything that is not zipped in the map zip files goes into the sharedPOIs folder. For example, if you download New York and unzip it, that gets unzipped into the maps folder. If you download the usa-user.zip (user submitted POIs) this goes into the sharedPOIs folder. SenderoMaps 2012 does all this for you. On 7/5/2012 7:10 AM, Marco Migotti wrote:
I downloaded the gnis poi's and where should I put them? I'm supposing that it is in the shared folder, right? Your user.pdb and favorites files will also be moved from the maps folder into the sharedPOIs folder as well.
