Hello Brett,
Yes all Sendero products has that built in feature for address lookup and cross streets when an address is not given or an exact match is not found.

Thanks
Charles.

Hi Charles,

Can the other Sendero GPS's locate intersections in the same manner as Mobile Geo does? This is one feature I absolutely love, as many places that are located on the corner of two streets, will give their address as being on the corner of Smith and Johnston street for example. In Mobile Geo, we can do an address lookup and search for Smith street and do not specify a street number and MGeo will return all street names that cross Smith street. You can then select Johnston street to drill down to that intersection.

Cheers,
Brett.

Hello,
Intersections and ramps are not POIs so this is not available.
Thanks
Charles.

The new feature I would like to introduce is the way we do POI
searching. There are four ways to find POIs.

1. nearby POIS, Press F this works as it always has.

2. simple find, Press SPACE with F or READ with F, you are only
presented with the category sub category, and search string.

3. advanced find, this is the most powerful find Press BACKSPACE with
F or CONTROL with F. You are presented witht the following: category,
subcategory, starting distance If you don't enter a starting distance
an ending distance is not offered. Search direction, you are
presented with a list of 9 items, full circle, ahead, behind, left,
right, north, south, east, and west. You can search for POI in a
desired direction. Then you are prompted for the field type, you can
search on name, city, phone number, street name etc. the field items
are presented to you in a list. Once you select the field you are
interested in searching, you are finally offered the search string.
When you type in the search string and press enter the search executes
with the peramitors defined. IE all shops ahead of you. Or all POIs
along a certain street.

4. The final search is user defined. There is a hot key, BACKSPACE
with Dot 3 or CONTROL with U, this will perform a search using the
category and subcategory of your choice. By default the keystroke is
defined to look at all user private POIs.

Another note about POI searches, LookAround has a new item called POI
search direction. This allows you to be notified of all POI in a
desired direction, ahead of you, or a full circle around you. The
choice is yours.
