I thought about that, and that might be an option; although they're so tiny that I'd be worried about losing it. Does anyone know if there's a limit to the size SD card a BrailleNote can read?

Hey Peggy, What about a SD card? I see those all the time. -----Original Message----- From: gps-talkusers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:gps-talkusers-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Peggy Kern Sent: Thursday, November 06, 2008 8:10 PM To: gps-talkusers@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [gps-talkusers] Re: More card questions I suppose I could get a 16 gb card instead of a 32; but I was thinking I wanted to make sure and have room for poi files too, and I know a lot of people have used 32 gig cards successfully. I just wonder if there's something I need to double check on in the descriptions of cards. It rarely happens, but it's still a possibility. Would it be possible to fit all the maps you want on a 16GB card? I don't know if there's a size limit on cards the M-Power can handle. You might also consider keeping your maps on a flash drive. Well, I'm sending my card back to Newegg for a refund. I've had good luck with them in the past, and I still don't know what was wrong this time. Someone suggested that perhaps my card reader can't read high capacity cards, and that I should get a new card reader. But we tried it on two separate readers, with the same results. If anyone discovers a specific card model that works with the BrailleNote for storing GPS maps, I'd love it if you could either post the link to thecard, or e-mail me privately. I really want to get all the maps for thisversion loaded.Peggy <still wondering why this card wouldn't work, and whether I orderedthe wrong thing, and how I can get the right thing> http://kernsac.livejournal.com/__________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signaturedatabase 3592 (20081106) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com__________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signaturedatabase 3592 (20081106) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com__________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signaturedatabase 3595 (20081107) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com__________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signaturedatabase 3595 (20081107) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com
