Questions, on our trip my wife ask me how far it was to a town where she was trying to look up a waypoint, an RV park in this case. I gave her what I though would be airline miles, however it usually couldn't find even the town that way. We started using miles from the route menu and it seemed to be closer. The question I have, when she is looking up a POI for me and she as how far is it to that point, do I give her as the crow flies or is it road miles. We just finished a 1900 mile trip with our 5th wheel RV and Debby did all the navigation. We had a ball and she was able to look at elevations as we traveled along and never before did she have any sense of how high we were. The GPS was within 5-10 feet of the posted elevation on passes we crossed with, I think, using 9 satellites. She has all the stuff turned on and every little town we went though, roads we crossed we discovered new things that we were not aware of other times. There were two campgrounds that were not in the index where we stayed, or maybe we just couldn't find them, so I have her the lat/lon which works sweet as well. Anyway, all in all it was a great addition to our trip and it even got them to a Weight Watchers meeting in Medford, Oregon that her lifelong resident mother didn't know that tiny piece of town. She got one over on Mamma, she sure had fun over that. The system preformed quit well although there were a couple of miss fires but we not sure if it was operator error (don't tell my wife that) or was it software issues. We downloaded the July 31 patch and installed in Medford but we didn't see any difference in performance. She is ready for the wayfun trip now... Craig Phillips
