I would be surprised if HW gave no notice to stopping upgrades for the PK. The VoiceSense has no display and is larger than the PK (if I read the specs correctly); if I had a choice, I would take the PK. Right now I have an mPower, but to have a PK would be really great.

I've been wondering the same thing with regards to GPS and PK 
SMA's.  I know
HW told us in advance about the final SMA release for the 
classics, but I
have no way of knowing whether they would give such notice with 
the PK.
As with you, I really do like the small size of the PK, and to 
think that
small device includes the Braille display as well, just can't 
beat that

combination.  Guess there is
the Voice Sense due to have the Sendero GPS soon; and, while
the Sense specifications do sound quite good, I still would like 
to have a
way to have that smaller size and weight, while having easy 
access to the
Braille display while trying to use the GPS when walking. And, 
although
there are the SyncBraille displays, I'm thinking they wouldn't be 
all that
practical to use in this type situation. Although, I do have to 
admit that

I haven't seen these new devices to know for sure.



So, grin, guess
one just has to make the best choice they can for themselves 
based on the

info and
products available at the time.

I have Braille Note PK, and I love its size. But I've been 
recently
wondering how long Humanware will continue to support PKs. It 
seems like
fewer and fewer features of mPower upgrades are included in the 
PK model.
Will it follow the same path that the classic BN models did soon? 
If so, it
makes me wonder whether I should keep investing on SMAs for both 
PK and the
Sendero or start saving money on whatever the new model that 
might come out.

I wish I knew.
