No this is a HUGE step forward for the GPS software, and is definitely a
paid upgrade. Over 16 months of development has gone into this release.
The only time there will be a free upgrade is a small change to the
software to fix a specific problem as was the case with 3.5 to 3.51 for an
Australian issue. This is a major revision change and not only has over
half the software been rewritten in this release but we also have new maps
and POIs for USA, Canada, Australia, and most of Europe. Not only that
but in Europe we finally have real commercial POIs!
This will be the biggest release Sendero has ever done, so I am kind of
surprised by the question to be frank.
