Hi all.
I'd like to introduce myself. I am Martin Roberts and have recently gained
employment with Human Ware Europe.
My job title is Blindness sales & Support, so I travel around the country
showing our blindness products, but some of you may talk to me on the phone
especially about window-eyes and the Braillients.
I am a big fan of GPS and love the Braillenote GPS, it just rocks on the PK!!!!
I'm looking forward to getting acquainted with the Trekker and Maestro
products and pushing all forms of GPS aggressively in the UK. I'll be doing my
bit this weekend by adding points of interest in and around Preston in
Lancashire to the POI database of the BN, possibly pubs mainly, but nevermind..
A quick bit of background for you.
I have been using assistive technology for many years and am fortunate enough
to have used many great products over this time. I gained a degree in Social
Policy from the University of Central Lancashire 15 months ago, and have
worked for Humanware Europe for nearly 5 months now.
