Thanks Mike.

I got a call and e-mail invoice that my V3 upgrade is shipping today.
I
feel like a kid counting the days to Christmas.

Rich,

The secret is that I was using, and am also at this moment, using my
laptop
through a Bluetooth connection to my Nokia cell phone.

I have used the BrailleNote with a different phone but as you say, the
serial port was necessary.

FYI, I have a BrailleNote PK in my hot little hands, soon to be in
Charles'
hands for GPS development.
