When using virtual mode, the QT commands are control+up or down arrow to move along a route.

Hi Carol,
When you are following a route, it doesn't matter of it's pedestrian
or vehicle, you can move yourself along the route way point by
waypoint by pressing dots 2-3-5-6 to move forward space with dots
2-3-5-6 to move back. Dots 3-6 moves turn by turn dots 3-6 with space
move back turn by turn.

it's like moving a pointer along your route.
on the qt the commands are read with up arrow moves fwd waypoint by
waypoint, read down arrow moves back waypoint by waypoint. Read right
arrow moves turn by turn and Read left arrow moves back turn by turn.
Hope this helps.

Hi all,

I've just started working with vehicular routes (having done mainly
pedestrian routes since using Version 4) and have a few thoughts and
questions around the vehicular route created.

First, I like to look over the route but sometimes then want to go back to
the beginning . . .. I've found a work around is to say I want to edit the
route and this will take me swiftly back to the beginning. That's fine.
Suppose, though, that I want to get quickly to a point on that route to
answer questions for my driver?

Ideally I think I'd like to be able to edit the route, get to the
information quickly and then, after exiting the edit mode, be placed exactly
where I exit. What do others think of this and particularly Sendero?

Of course I may be missing the obvious and we may already have the ability
to do this quickly and easily.

All comments most welcome, thanks.
