Hi Leslie,
There is a new patch now any ways so I would just download the latest
patch and install it overtop of 4.0. It doesn't hurt to install the
patch over 4.0, so when in doubt just install the patch. Anyone who
received their Sendero GPS 4.0 on August 1st or later should not need
to install the patch.
The Latest patch can be obtained from our "Free Downloads" section of
our web-site.

Remember to do a 123 or sdf reset before installing the patch or you
will hear "unable to install because the file is in use."
