Hail, Mike and all ...

Thanks for the reassurance which I take from what you seemed to pick up at
Sight Village about Pulsedata's attitude to anyone in my position, who bought
their GPS Version 2 on being told that that would entitle them to Version 3 at
no further cost, Mike. I must admit to having been under a bit of a
misapprehension about Pulsedata's involvement with GPS until only recently, and
also about this list. I can't swear to it, because I'm not able to get out the
figurative tooth-comb and go through the various bits and pieces I've had from
Pulsedata concerning GPS, but my recollection is that Pulsedata here in the UK
hasn't gone out of its way to make it clear that the GPS system isn't one of
its products. Whether I'm right or wrong on that one, I still maintain that,
overall, Pulsedata's approach to its promotional bumph is rather hyperbolic, if
not more so.

Only by a recent posting to this list have I become aware that the Magellan
tracker supplied by Pulsedata has actually been superseded. How much more
up-to-date is the other model mentioned? And does that mean that the Magellan
is an inferior product? What are the differences in performance and ease of
use, can anyone tell me, please?

'Bye for now,
John Goddard.
