[gpodder-devel] [off-topic] playing realaudio in VLC

Hi all,

I found out I needed to recompile VLC with the 'rtsp' USE-flag enabled :-)).

For those who are interested: I use very minimal USE settings in Gentoo, so I
basically have a very basic, non-customized system. This works perfectly 99.99%
of the time. VLC is one of the programs which for some reason is very picky
about USE-flags, so I have the USE settings from the videolan site, which by
default does not include rtsp.

I read something about mplayer including some non-Open Source Real drivers.

Anyway, thanks for your thoughts,
Wilfred
