Hello there!

Maemo got accepted as a mentoring organization in the Google Summer
of Code 2009 some days ago, and is collecting ideas for student projects
right now. If you are a student, and would like to work on gPodder
during
GSoC 2009, this might be your chance.

If you want to work on gPodder with a focus on Maemo (the Linux-based
OS for Nokia Internet Tablets like the N800 and N810), please describe

Have a look at http://bugs.gpodder.org/ for some inspiration.

Another possible option is to work on Panucci (a podcast and audiobook
player for Linux and Maemo) - contact nikosapi for more information.
